The Champions Award is one of the highest awards that NAMI National gives. The award will be presented at the NAMI Convention to be held in Denver in July. Many NAMI Pinellas members will attend to cheer for Johnny!
For almost 20-years, Johnny Limbaugh, works daily to improve the lives of persons coping with mental illness as a NAMI Board Member, Peer-to-Peer Mentor, CIT Presenter, NAMI Smarts teacher, NAMI Media spokesperson, and in his employment as Activities Director at an Assisted Living Facility for seniors. Johnny is the epitome of a Champion Consumer Activist, excelling in every endeavor. In many NAMI Pinellas programs, he plays a vital leadership role with great vision and perception. NAMI Pinellas is very fortunate to have Johnny on our team and we are so proud of all of his accomplishments!
